Together we can make a difference
for cancer patients in our community!

He lived by the motto, “It’s all Good.” He was a father, husband, son, brother, friend, coach and hero. His love of life and laughter were an inspiration and is what made Tom Vadas so special.
In memory of Tom and his 16 year fight with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, the community has rallied together to create the Tom Vadas Memorial Dodge For The Cure Old School Dodgeball Tournament, to be held at Jensen Beach High School Gymnasium on Friday, May 9th 2008 at 6 PM. There is no better way to capture Tom’s love of fun!
The proceeds will benefit the Oncology Inpatient Unit at Martin Memorial Medical Center, where Tom spent most of the last year of his life. Tom’s vision while staying on the 3rd floor was to create a “home-away-from-home” feeling for cancer patients and their visiting families . . . a place where they feel upbeat and motivated to continue their fight each day.
Help us create a successful and memorable event! Support the Tom Vadas Memorial Dodge For The Cure Old School Dodgeball Tournament through playing in the tournament, sponsorship, or gift donations- in the form of cash, raffle prizes or in-kind items. All donations are tax-deductible and checks should be made out to the Martin Memorial Foundation.
You are going to enjoy being a part of this fun and exciting event. Our heart felt thanks for your support!
